Of course God exists. You know what’s the biggest proof of God? Strong Atheists. You see, no one goes around dedicating their entire lives to saying something that doesn’t exist really doesn’t exist. You don’t see people going around saying, “There are no heffalumps.” Everyone knows there are no heffalumps. Atheists prove God’s existence like the darkness proves the light. We would not know darkness if not for the light.

“There is such thing as a delicious pot noodle! I don’t believe in it and no one else does, so it’s stupid to believe that it’ exists!”

Ok so I’ve just denied the existence of something that almost everybody knows is (sadly) nonexistent. Through some strange undefined mechanism, this must now mean I can chow down on a delicious pot noodle!

Oh no wait. It doesn’t. Because logic doesn’t work that way.

I do have something to share though.

I always see people complaining of the lack of criticism for Islam and other religions by atheists.

And by “people” I mean Christians.

Now I can’t speak for everyone but I can…

The fact that most Atheists were born and raised in Christian homes. I understand why we focus on Christianity. (Christians tend to shove their beliefs down other people’s throat unlike most religions)

I don’t know if that second statement is absolutely true, but the first one is, in my case.

Proof of what? I’m an agnostic atheist.

I’m not a gnostic, so I have no proof to provide.

I do not believe there is a god but I don’t think that I can never know for sure.

You can be agnostic, but you can’t simply be agnostic by itself in regards to religious beliefs. Agnosticism is a position on knowledge. It’s saying that certain truths are unknowable. This word, inherently, has absolutely nothing to do with god.

Agnostic atheist or weak atheism: non-belief in a deity but without claiming absolute certainty that a god can’t exist.

Gnostic atheist or strong atheism: non-belief in a deity but with claiming absolute certainty that a god can’t exist.

Agnostic theist or weak theism: belief in a deity but without claiming absolute certainty that a god does exist.

Gnostic theist or strong theism: belief in a deity but with claiming absolute certainty that a god does exist.

Any sane person is an agnostic when it comes to a position of knowledge. Absolute objective truth cannot be obtained, so ‘gnosticism’ is insanity. If you live your life as there is no god, and find the idea of a personal god ridiculous— then you are more than likely, an atheist. If not, then you might be a deist.

Atheism and theism wouldn’t even be terms, if you could simply just be agnostic by itself, because know one can know for sure if god does exist or doesn’t.

Agnosticism is NOT the middle ground between atheism and theism.
