I don’t know whether to laugh or drop my head in shame of this member of our species. Forget the fact that this person would conceive god allowing thousands of starving children to die around the world every day, but bless them with enough milk to get their recipe to turn out right… there’s not exactly 2/3 cup of milk- IT CAME UP SHORT… look at it. This is a classic example of religiocentric indoctrination; a person “seeing” the works of god for those in their compartmentalized belief system without consideration of those outside of it. And our species will truly succeed only when this type of thinking has gone the way of alchemy and witch trials.

Now THIS is the kind of hard, solid, incontrovertible evidence that I’m talking about!  There is NO F**KING way this could have been a coincidence!  It HAD to be the space aliens that beamed exactly that amount into her carton!

I guess this is the undeniable evidence people…

So, life on Earth is just a test to see if we qualify for a Heaven and God already knows if we’ll pass the test or not.  Seems legit.

You can change your own destiny. God doesn’t choose for you. Parents can try all they like. Nothing in your life is a fixed truth. The truths are what you make of it.

Control over your own destiny is all well and good, but if God is omniscient he know’s what this destiny is even before you are born.  That is the argument with this poster.  If God already knows our destiny, then what is the point of running this life test?  If we are destined to Heaven or Hell before birth, why not just start us there?  So that we can learn?  What can we do with what we’ve learned, particularly if we, as many argue, are doomed to an eternity in Hell with no chance of parole?  What good does this knowledge do us in eternal paradise?
What, then, is God’s entire point of the exercise if he knows the exact outcome in advance?

If the outcome is predetermined, then free will is the cruellest of illusionary jokes.

If your god’s real and yet he’s not powerful enough to convince me that he’s real, how is it my fault for not believing it?

Look, there’s a nice convenient key for if we get stuck in there and want to leave! Thanks, Satan!

Look, Hell is not MY choice.  *I* don’t want to go in there.  If I refuse to walk through the door, who’s gonna be the one to push me through?
And if I’m pushed into a place I don’t want to go, who, really, is making the decision?

Still can’t get over the fact they put the motherfucking key on the wrong side of the door.Or the right side, if you’re a compassionate person who genuinely is horrified by the idea of eternal torture. Unintentional victory for morality? Or religious stupidity? You decide.
