Time flies when you’re having fun! 
I’ve been busy myself, barely having time even for my crappy personal blog, but now that I’ve got my place at University sorted, I’ll have a little more time from the end of next month onwards to spam your dashboards ;)
Also, we have two new moderators joining us! I’m sure they’ll introduce themselves once everything’s sorted, so I hope you enjoy what they post.

The reality is that if a parent tells their  8 year old child that drugs are bad and not to use them, but then a drug dealer shows up on their school playground and lies and talks him into using heroin, and the child dies, the drug dealer is responsible for the child’s death.

Satan brought sin into the world, he is responsible for every living creature’s death.

While I think it’s silly to debate about fictitious stories, I find it fascinating that followers of the Bible consider that their god, the creator of everything, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-wise, can have his perfect plan for humanity so easily thwarted by a few sentences spoken by a talking snake.  And then these followers proceed to blame said snake for every death this god inflicts thereafter.

You know what would have made more sense than killing the above two million people?  Simply kill 2 people, Adam and Eve, and start fresh.  And while he’s starting over, maybe he could put that fruit tree in a little less accessible a place, kill the darned snake, and keep a better eye on things the next time around.  Problem solved.

Taking the OP’s analogy to its logical conclusion, I have to say his analysis is in fact detrimental to his own position. Because, who created Satan? I think a study of the Bible is quite clear it was the person you’re trying to clear for all those deaths. 

So, back to the analogy:The final sentence was incredibly telling. The creator of the cause of death is, by your logic, the true cause of death. And I’m sure most agree that God created Satan. Now, in which case…
Isn’t God therefore, by your own logic, the one really responsible then for every death, ever?

No one wins. 

Both sides are in the same fault of accusing the other side as either pushing their beliefs. Both sides have those who get offended by this, and blame the whole other side for it. 

Even I have done this, blamed ‘atheists’ as a group, for treating me like any other ‘Christian’, when really not every Atheist is like that, nor every Christian. 

I stopped this, because it’s not  fair, but also it’s just fucking ridiculous.
